The newly renovated Avante at St. Cloud Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Social Services Director to act as a liaison and representative of the residents' social interests and to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Social Services Department in accordance with current federal and state standards governing the facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator to ensure that the medically related psycho-social needs of the residents are met and maintained on an individual basis.

What we are looking for:

• Positive attitude toward the elderly.

• Must be a team player.

• Must have the ability to work with all levels of management.

• Must have strong problem-solving skills.

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or in Human Services but not limited to Sociology, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counseling.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in Long Term Care.

• At least 1 year of supervised Social Work experience in a Health Care setting working directly with individuals.

Background Screening Requirement:

This position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
