RETS Associates is representing the world’s leading real estate private equity firm in the search for an 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 to join their Asset Management team in Washington, DC. The Associate will work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in driving asset-level strategy, financial performance, and reporting.
This is a competitive, high-exposure role for top performers with 2 to 4 years of experience in commercial real estate asset management or analysis . The firm is prioritizing candidates who graduated between 2021 and 2023 and bring a strong academic and professional foundation.
*Advanced degrees may be considered but are not preferred .
Core Responsibilities:
• Maintain detailed Excel models, including capital structure and waterfall calculations
• Create sensitivity models to support strategic decision-making
• Participate in leasing and development calls to inform asset strategy
• Prepare quarterly valuations and investor reporting
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university with a 3.5+ GPA
• 2–4 years of direct experience in CRE asset management or financial analysis
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build models from scratch (modeling test required)
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and executive presence
• Argus experience is a plus
