Full Body Rejuvenation Center is seeking an honest, reliable, self motivated, goal driven, professional, team oriented, multi-tasking, energetic medical assistant/ chiropractic assistant who will work the front desk. Although this is primarily front office, back office is trained as well.
Must have reliable transportation.
If you are detail-oriented, able to multitask, and have a high energy personality, this is the job for you!
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Answer the phones
Greet patients when they enter the clinic
Schedule patient appointments
Explain fees to patients and accept payment
Perform data entry in the clinic’s computer systems
Describe products available for purchase at the clinic and process payment for the same
Keep patient files up to date and enter appropriate charges and process payment
Filing
Following procedures
Insurance verification
Following up with other Doctors, Lawyers, and other offices
Following up with patients after appointments
Ensuring that patient plans are handed out
Must Have:
Incredible personality (will be talking to lots of patients)
No experience required, but must be open to learning
High energy
Able to multitask effectively
Excellent customer service skills
Willing to learn medical front and back office skills (including but not limited to insurance verifications, data entry, the ability to use medical terminology, knowledgeable of HIPAA regulations, ability to take vital signs and the ability to communicate with other medical facilities)
Phone skills are a must.
Basic computer knowledge and comfort with MS Office
Attention to detail and an affinity
This position involves organizing workload and handling busy reception and therapy areas.
Candidate must be super on the telephone, detail-oriented, team-oriented, a well organized thinker, energetic person with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment .
The candidate must also have at least intermediate level with Microsoft office suite and be familiar with electronic medical health records(EHR).
Must be able to create various business documents and spreadsheets.
Proficient communication with various medical offices in English is mandatory and Spanish is preferred, but optional.
Minimum typing skills, 40 wpm.
