AMTS is looking for BIM Designers to join our Phoenix semiconductor project. You will provide support to project delivery teams by performing modeling, coordination, and design development tasks consistent with project requirements, ensuring alignment with existing tools, QA/QC expectations, and safety protocols.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• 3D modeling and documentation in Revit/BIM 360 for VESDA, Fire Alarm, and limited Sprinkler systems
• Coordination and clash detection using Navisworks and Newforma Konekt.
• Integration with Aspire 3.3 VESDA software for detector and pipe network design
• Collaboration with client and contractors' design teams to ensure model alignment and compliance with project standards
• Participation in coordination and review meetings as required
• Work with project teams to integrate submittals, manufacturers’ data and as-built information into the BIM model to enhance the models Facilities Management capabilities.
• Monitor and guide the model advancement and utilization process through construction. Review the contractors' BIM model and as-built model.
• Assist with integrating BIM into the commissioning process.
• Provide direction and support to project designers and contractors for integration of the programs BIM policy.
• Facilitate model handover from Designer to Trades, and Designer and Trades to Facilities. Evaluation of Proposals about BIM.

 

 

Position Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or STEM related fields preferred
• Semiconductor/high-tech facility industry experience
• Knowledge of computer systems and their applications. Interface with Building Information Modelling (BIM).
• Expert knowledge of applicable codes and regulations.
• Extensive knowledge of standard BIM practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Revit capable
• Navisworks
