\nRegistered Nurse - PACU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 4x10 hour shifts Monday through Friday with rotating start times between 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM
\n• 40 guaranteed hours per week
\n• 24 hours of call per 6-week schedule period as needed
\n• Patient ratio of 1:2
\n• Minimum 1 year of experience required
\n• First-time travelers accepted
\n• No weekend requirements
\n• Must pass Relias EKG exam with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Vents, IV start, Telemetry
\n• PACU and critical care experience required
\n• Epic experience required
\n• Will float within service line to meet facility needs
\n• Work primarily rotating between PACU and pre/post interventional radiology area within PACU unit
\n• Manage complicated postoperative patients including multiple drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general anesthesia
\n• Care for surgical patients from GU, GYN, Colorectal, minimally invasive procedures, Bariatric, and some ENT cases
\n• Navy scrubs required
\n• 40 hours of orientation provided
\n• No more than 7 days RTO per contract
\n• Must reside at least 75 miles from facility

\nThis major healthcare facility is a short-term acute care teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center with 1,266 total staffed beds. The facility features a comprehensive PACU unit located in Parkview Tower that specializes in managing complex postoperative patients. The hospital provides interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, and rapid response teams. The facility utilizes Epic charting system and maintains high standards for critical care and trauma services.
