Job Description\n

The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, implements, and evaluates care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician. The RN is knowledgeable about principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with the patient, patient's family members/significant others, professional peers, and other members of the health care team to individualize patient care. The RN directs nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to the standards of nursing practice, as well as administrative and departmental policies and procedures.

  • Assess and evaluate patient care requirements under the supervision of a licensed physician.

  • Utilize the nursing process to provide effective and individualized nursing care.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with the patient's family and other health care professionals to facilitate optimal patient care.
  • \n
  • Direct and supervise nursing support staff in accordance with established nursing practice standards.

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n
    \n
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in area of clinical specialty (preferred).
  • \n
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required).
  • \n
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
  • \n
  • PA Registered Nurse License (required).
  • \n
  • Basic Life Support Certification (required).
  • \n

This is a 12-hour AM shift position.
