Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with an active IL license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least two years of IR experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position located in the Interventional Radiology unit of an acute care Level II Trauma hospital
• Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week (6:30 AM to 5:00 PM)
• Required to work every third weekend
• On-call required one night per week as primary and one night per week as secondary
• Floating required within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
• Uses Cerner EMR; Cerner experience is preferred
• Solid color scrubs required
• Must be able to float across various hospital units and nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
• Candidates must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays if scheduled
• Maximum 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be auto-approved; more than 5 days requires approval
• Parking permit provided at no cost; must be completed during orientation
• Locals are accepted with no radius restriction
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active IL RN license required for consideration; license must be in hand or active application with ETA
• Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required through AHA or Red Cross (RQI cards not accepted)
• Must have completed modules and orientation as specified prior to assignment start
• Candidates who have been a permanent or PRN employee at Memorial must not have worked there in the past 12 months
