• Location: Chicago, IL 60612 – Prime location for Illinois nursing jobs in a major metropolitan area
\n\t
• Healthcare Setting: Level 1 Trauma Center, Pain Management & Interventional Radiology Units
\n\t
• Contract Type: Travel RN contract
\n\t
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/9/2025 – End: 3/10/2026)
\n\t
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
\n\t
• Nursing Shift: 5x8-Hour Nights (3:30pm – 12:00am)
\n\t
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (2 weekends per month); occasional weekend day shift (8am – 4:30pm)
\n\t
• On-Call: Rotating on-call schedule (M-F 12am–8am; weekends/holidays 24 hours)
\n\t
• Floating: Mandatory float between Radiology and Pain Management departments
\n\t
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue (not provided)
\n\t
• Charting System: Cerner EMR
\n\t
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2750 - $2820
\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n\n

\n\t
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience, preferably in Interventional Radiology or Pain Management
\n\t
• Active Illinois RN license required (must be in hand upon submission)
\n\t
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
\n\t
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions for flu only)
\n\t
• Ability to float between radiology and pain management units
\n\t
• Staff required to wear lead during interventional procedures
\n

\n\nInterventional Radiology RN Responsibilities\n\n

\n\t
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology and pain management procedures
\n\t
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and assist with specialized clinical procedures
\n\t
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide coverage during weekends and holidays
\n\t
• Float between Radiology and Pain Management departments to support facility needs
\n\t
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR system
\n\t
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
\n\t
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including vaccination and time-off requirements
\n
