Job Details:

• Work 3 x 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
\n• Every other Saturday/Sunday weekend requirement with holidays as needed
\n• 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
\n• Occasional floating required
\n• 12 hours of orientation provided
\n• 2 years of nursing experience required
\n• Travel experience required
\n• CA RN licensure required
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Epic experience
\n• Certifications required within specified timeframes: PALS (within 180 days), TNCC (within 180 days), NIHSS (within 90 days)
\n• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
\n• All certifications must be AHA or American Red Cross
\n• 50-mile travel requirement applies
\n• Provide assessment, coordination, delivery and evaluation of nursing care in acute patient setting
\n• Deliver holistic and individualized care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
\n• Maintain collaborative relationships between patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers
\n• Care for adult patients with daily census of 40 in 44-bed unit
\n• Work with interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams

The facility maintains a 44-bed ICU with a daily census of 40 patients and offers extensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support. The organization emphasizes holistic patient care and maintains high standards for nursing excellence with comprehensive orientation and continuing education programs.
