We are looking for a highly skilled Sushi Chef to join our outstanding culinary team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for culinary arts and will have been formally trained at an accredited culinary institution. Candidates must be able to work effectively in a team environment and have an understanding of minimizing food costs through effective practices. A culinary skills demonstration may be required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Knowledge of Cooking Sushi Rice
• Proportions of Vinegar goes in  Rice.
• Basic Knowledge of Nori
• Alternatives to Nori
• Knowledge of Omakase
• Identify Freshness of Seafood
• Knife Sharpening Skills
• Butchering Fish
• Knowledge of Tempura
• Know the basics of  Sauces.
• Understanding Allergies
• Knowledge of Hygiene
• Serve safe  Certified.
• Japanese Cuisine Experience
• Work well with  Others.
