The Role

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Human Resources Strategic Business Partner to lead our efforts in Sellersburg, IN. This role is responsible for management of the Human Resources function in the plant. The ideal candidate is an innovative, data-driven leader with a passion for people and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Propose, develop, implement and administer employee policies and procedures while staying current on recent labor laws and changes affecting Human Resources.
  • Provide guidance to managers and supervisors on HR policies and procedures.
  • Oversee all Human Resource programs in the facility including compensation, payroll, labor and benefits administration while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Support all aspects of employee relations activities including recognition events, Vision Team activities, employee engagement, etc.
  • Conduct and support the full employee life cycle for all employees including recruitment, orientation, compensation, performance management, succession management and termination.
  • Plan, organize and control all activities of the department, including departmental goals and objectives, KPIs and department meetings.

Who You Are

  • A Human Resources professional with a bachelor’s degree and 5 (five) years of applicable experience, OR a master’s degree in human resource management and 4 (four) years of applicable experience, OR 9 (nine) years of progressive Human Resources management experience.
  • An individual possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills who is also proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail and able to maintain confidential information.
  • Manufacturing, Warehouse or Automotive experience and/or Professional in Human Resource certification (PHR) or Senior Professional (SPHR) are preferred.
