NOTS Logistics is immediately hiring a Spotter Driver/Yard Dog at our White, GA location to work on our 4th shift . A Spotter Driver assists the Warehouse Supervisor and Lead by guiding yard activities for shipping outbound and receiving inbound loads. Safely and effectively oversees the inbound/outbound movements of carriers' tractors and trailers.

Starting Pay Rate: $21.45

Hours: Saturday-Tuesday 6am-4pm, with some OT as needed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Stage trailers to be loaded/off-loaded, filling orders, receiving and storing product in the warehouse. This will include actively spotting trailers, pulling orders and/or assisting loading personnel as deemed necessary by production demands, shipping schedules, staffing levels, etc.
• Manage warehouse/yard equipment and assets by assisting the Warehouse Supervisor in ensuring proper care of forklifts/spotter truck and maintenance is completed.
• Checks completed orders for accuracy and compliance with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures for NOTS Logistics and our customer.
• Responsible for training and development of all assigned associates to ensure compliance with company HR and Safety Policies.
• Facilitate team meetings and communicate company objectives and policies to all associates.
• Properly maintain yard Management System throughout shift.
• Cover shifts for alternate spotters in time of absences/vacation.
• Establishing performance standards of productivity for all associates and monitors compliance to performance standards through reviews, counseling, refresher training, etc.
• Adhere to the NLGA Code of Ethics and Business Conduct at all times. Acts as the representative of NOTS Logistics and our customer at all times while on duty.
• Performs other duties as deemed necessary by company management.

Job Requirements:

• Must understand and abide by all required performance standards of productivity for assigned job function and communicating problems or concerns to supervisor, manager or human resources.

• Former experience operating similar equipment with a CDL is preferred but not required
