[solidcore] is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to help build and scale our digital fitness platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain the mobile and web applications that power the [solidcore] member experience. This role will play a key part in shaping scalable backend services, leveraging modern cloud infrastructure, and exploring how AI-driven tools and automation can enhance both internal operations and the end-user journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain [solidcore]'s fitness platform using modern technologies including Node.js, React Native/Expo, Next.js, and AWS services
• Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and other cloud infrastructure
• Develop and enhance mobile and web applications that power the [solidcore] member experience
• Leverage AI-powered development tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development and improve code quality
• Build and maintain AI agents and automation systems that enhance both internal operations and member experiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship features that directly impact thousands of fitness enthusiasts daily
• Optimize application performance and resolve production issues, including monitoring with Sentry and responding to incidents
• Implement and maintain integrations with third-party platforms like Mind Body Online and Contentful CMS
• Participate in code reviews via GitHub and contribute to maintaining high code quality standards
• Work with blue-green deployment strategies and modern CI/CD practices to ensure reliable releases
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and evaluate their potential application to our platform and workflows

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, React Native, or similar)
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFormation)
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• Demonstrated experience using AI coding assistants and tools to enhance productivity
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring how AI can solve real-world problems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with React Native/Expo for mobile development
• Familiarity with Next.js and modern web development practices
• Experience with DynamoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like Sentry
• Experience building or working with AI agents, LLM integrations, or automation systems
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, CDK)
• Experience in the fitness or wellness industry
