Location: Plano, TX (On-site for the first 90 days, then 1-2 days remote work per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee tax projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Perform comprehensive tax compliance activities for both individual and business clients, including preparation, planning, and projections.
• Analyze and review complex tax returns, utilizing extensive tax knowledge to achieve optimal results.
• Conduct in-depth tax research and manage inquiries, resolutions, and correspondence efficiently.
• Supervise accounting procedures and financial reporting, providing exceptional client services.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting their professional development and a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with team leaders to devise strategies for client growth and operational enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, with a dedicated focus on tax returns across at least three consecutive tax seasons.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Exceptional analytical skills and a meticulous approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in tax compliance, risk assessment, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
