Senior Project Manager – Water/Municipal

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead municipal water district projects across the Houston region. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer who thrives in managing complex civil projects, building strong client relationships, and mentoring teams.

What You’ll Do

• Manage roadway, drainage, utility, and water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Serve as the primary client contact, overseeing communication and project delivery.
• Develop project scope, goals, budgets, and schedules.
• Supervise and mentor design teams; ensure QA/QC standards are met.
• Support pursuit efforts through proposals, presentations, and client interviews.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed PE in Texas (required).
• 10+ years of municipal/civil project management experience.
• Strong background in roadway, drainage, utilities, or water/wastewater projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience working with municipal clients (City of Houston, Harris County, or similar agencies) strongly preferred.
• Ability to mentor younger engineers and coordinate across disciplines.
