Media & Growth Marketing is part of the Marketing Center of Excellence within Disney Experiences (DX). We connect consumers to the place where dreams come true through the development of holistic, audience-focused, data-driven communication plans across media and direct relationship channels.
Project Management is responsible for projects from inception to execution across people, resources and scope. Building and maintaining project plans, outlining clear deliverables and working with key stakeholders to keep project on schedule and always applying a lens for process improvement and efficiency opportunities. This role will work cross functionally with internal Planning and Buying teams, Yellow Shoes (internal creative agency), Budget Teams, external agencies and Marketing Compliance teams to help drive Disney Experiences’ business results and Media & Growth Marketing team collaboration.
This role will report to VP, Media and Growth Marketing.
Develop detailed project schedules that ensure all teams are aligned, aware of important project milestones, updates to timelines, and call out potential conflicts.
Lead project management of highly complex / Sr leadership level initatives
Partner with MGM leadership to identify solutions for process and resource optimization
Partner with Product Management to initiate projects in internal project software (Workfront/Groot).
Guide projects from beginning to end as the "go-to" person on progress and status, and ensure projects are updated in Workfront as milestones are met.
Lead weekly status meetings with primary teams to ensure everyone is aware of where projects are in the life cycle and the status on near-term deliverables.
Call out scheduling, resource, or other issues well in advance and offer up solutions for addressing them while ensuring the team is aware of timing effects on requested changes and communicate to all impacted partners.
Proactively collaborate with all teams and partners to ensure projects flow through all stages of project pipeline
Establish entrepreneurial mindset and drive projects and work with high level of autonomy.
7+ years of ad agency project management, professional marketing, or related experience.
Experience leading a high volume of complex projects with moderate to high level of autonomy.
Advanced knowledge of media, CRM and technology industries and best practices.
Proficiency in establishing and maintaining relationships with partners and peers to problem solve and inspire others.
Optimize projects for redundancy and establish efficiencies across business segments and campaigns
Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal) and time management skills with heightened attention to detail
Knowledgeable of the full agency Project Management process
Experience with Work Front and/or other project management tools
Project Management Professional (PMP) Industry Certification
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
