Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based counselor position is available for the uping school year in Sylvester, GA. This contract role provides an opportunity to support students' social, emotional, and academic development through individualized counseling and group interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students to address personal, social, or academic challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans that support student success
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records to monitor student progress
• Facilitate crisis intervention and provide referrals to munity resources as needed
• Support the development of a positive school climate through proactive outreach and prevention programs

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid counseling certification or licensure appropriate for school counseling
• Experience working with elementary through high school students
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students and staff
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work ethically within a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of counseling techniques and child/adolescent development

Location: Sylvester, GA
Employment Type: Contract for the full school year
