Job Responsibilities: What you will do

Provide marketing and sales support for Swift equipment sales team. Compile and organize data from a variety of sources to that allows sales representatives to ascertain potential customers and provide insights on evolving industry trends and market developments.
  • Develop processes and procedures that streamline and standardize operations.
  • Provide sales team with on-going support and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Analyze the company's activities and trends, and compare analyses against standards and best practices.
  • Ensure KNX shop employees have sales orders and that they prep equipment to comply with customer expectations (i.e. number of trailers, decals, maintenance, etc.).
  • Ensure the equipment title information is organized and available to sales representatives as needed.
  • Manage equipment placement and movement to optimize sales.
  • Monitor and maintain truck sales metrics that directly tie to corporate objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships and as requested by leadership.
  • Assist designated sales personnel with equipment advertising.
  • Update KNX equipment website and various other social and marketing sites with equipment for sale.
  • Evaluate market trends regarding sales pricing and provide recommendations to leadership.
  • Assist sales team with identifying business questions that lead to exploring new opportunities.
  • Prepare customer invoices for sales representatives.
  • Seek opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiency.
  • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring
  • 3+ years' experience in sales or operations in the transportation industry required.
  • Previous experience in trailer network management required.
  • Previous experience working with analytical tools such as Tableau, or similar tools required.
  • Bachelors' in business related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
  • Must be able to prepare and present data findings concisely and effectively.
  • Must have proven ability to solve complex problems.
  • Must be excellent communicator capable of tailoring messages to audiences of all levels.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Must be flexible and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Pay Range: Starting at $25 an hour
