Handyman on call is seeking a Roofing Estimator to join our team. This role involves assessing roofing projects, providing accurate estimates, and working with clients to secure sales. The ideal candidate has experience in roofing sales or estimating, but we are open to training the right person with strong communication and sales skills.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Roofing Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will assist the company in making profitable business decisions by gathering information and preparing accurate estimates. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has a proven track record as an Estimator. Must be able to climb on roof to access the necessary repair or replacement.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand the project scope and requirements by studying documentation, meeting with clients, and visiting relevant locations
• Collect necessary documentation such as plans, drawings, and project specifications
• Determine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costs
• Gather bids and negotiate with service providers to secure the best possible prices
• Create and submit estimates +

Requirements :

Experience in roofing estimating and/or sales preferred

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Valid drivers license (required)

Ability to work Monday through Saturday

Self-motivated and goal-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) is preferred
• Previous experience as an Estimator is preferred
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills
