We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our client's dynamic team based in Overland Park, Kansas. This role is 100% onsite.

In this pivotal position, you will oversee and optimize the procurement of indirect goods and services, ensuring alignment with the company’s operational goals. Your ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies, foster supplier relationships, and deliver cost-saving solutions will make you a critical contributor to organizational success.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the end-to-end procurement process for indirect spend categories
• Develop innovative sourcing strategies that drive cost efficiency and supplier performance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations and finance, to meet business objectives and ensure procurement practices align with company goals.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to create mutually beneficial agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance, mitigate risks, and ensure continuity of supply for essential services/materials.
• Stay informed about market trends and supply chain developments to proactively address potential challenges.
• Drive compliance with company policies and standards regarding procurement processes.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities in procurement practices and tools.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required; advanced degrees or certifications (such as CPM, CPSM) preferred.
• 5+ years of procurement experience, with a focus on indirect sourcing in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
• Proven experience building and maintaining supplier relationships.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in procurement tools/systems and MS Excel required.
