About The Role:

Tradewind Services is actively seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across a portfolio of consumer brands, with a focus on revenue, expenses, pricing, and tracking omni-channel performance. The role blends advanced Excel analysis, financial modeling, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver insights for executive decision-making.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Help to coordinate the budgeting/reforecasting process across the portfolio of companies. You will contribute to the development of the financial plan by supporting the leadership team with consolidation of revenue and departmental expense plans across the group.
  • Manage monthly 3PL logistics reports and freight analysis for all companies
  • Analyze pricing, promotions, and profitability by brand/channel/SKU
  • Review and compile retail sell-through data from various sources, report on findings for the business.
  • Prepare and review monthly expense budget vs. actual variance reporting for assigned companies/departments. Conduct monthly reviews with department leads as assigned.
  • Assist inweekly sales tracking and reporting (versus Budget and Prior Year) for assigned companies
  • Prepare Ecommerce/Retail financial reporting monthly and support ECOM/Retail P&L forecasting for both departments including new store planning and analysis
  • Work with finance team to maintain and adjust Quarterly, Seasonal and YE forecasts
  • Assist in improving and maintaining the 3-year financial model
  • Provide any ad hoc financial, operational and sales modeling
  • Create reports and analysis for the Executive team, all-staff company presentations and Board of Directors meetings.
  • Assist Finance and Accounting team as needed
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business
  • 2-3 years of work experience in a FP&A, management consulting or an accounting role
  • Strong experience in income statement analysis
  • Advanced Excel Skills including PowerPivot, ability to work with large data sets and pivot tables
  • Familiarity and passion for apparel/footwear industry or other consumer packaged goods
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Ability to work as a team player with the finance team to meet deadlines and strategize to improve processes and procedures
  • Goal-oriented, with high standards of honesty, ethics, and personal accountability.
  • Strong attention to detail; results oriented, customer-focused and must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
  • Self-motivated

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working with a Business Intelligence platform such as DOMO (preferred), Tableau, Power BI
  • Experience using an EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) software platform such as Adaptive Planning (preferred), Anaplan, Vena, etc. to build company budgets, forecasts and scenarios
  • Proficient using financial modules on ERP platforms such as Full Circle (preferred), SAP, NetSuite, etc
  • SQL knowledge a plus
  • AI adoption/fluency a plus

Location & Office Structure: This is an in-office hybrid position, mandatory 4 days per week in office in Irvine, CA with the option to work from home 1 day per week. Subject to change without notice as per company guidelines.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000; salary is based on the experience that you bring to the position.
