Mechanical Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift (Level III)
\n Industry Leading Automotive Parts Manufacturer – Lakewood, NY
\nAre you a seasoned industrial maintenance professional ready to take on new challenges? An industry leading automotive parts manufacturer is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Level III) for our Lakewood, NY location. This full-time, onsite role is perfect for candidates with at least 7 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience, particularly those with Millwright expertise and a strong mechanical aptitude.

\n Job Specifications \n

\n\t
• Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite (Direct Hire)\n\t
• Location: Lakewood, NY \n\t
• Pay Rate: $35/hr plus overtime \n\t
• Shift: 2nd shift (mandatory overtime and weekends)\n

\n Roles and Responsibilities \n\n

\n\t
• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot CNC machines and engine component production equipment\n\t
• Perform comprehensive mechanical and electrical repairs with high craftsmanship standards\n\t
• Conduct regular quality inspections and uphold strict safety protocols\n\t
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth, continuous operations\n\t
• Mentor junior technicians and support the Apprenticeship Program\n\t
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks and work orders using Maximo\n\t
• Apply TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles and maintain a clean, organized workspace\n

\n Qualifications & Skills \n\n

\n\t
• Minimum 7 years of industrial maintenance experience; Millwright background preferred\n\t
• Proficient with CNC, HMI, robotic controls, and diagnostic tools\n\t
• Skilled at reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams\n\t
• Technical education or certifications preferred but not required\n\t
• Solid understanding of NEC/IEC standards and industrial safety; familiarity with 70E certification\n\t
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime and weekend shifts\n\t
• Flexibility to assist across various production areas as needed\n\t
• Industrial experience required (residential/commercial backgrounds not considered)\n
