Maintenance Technician | Grandville, MI

Salary Range: $48,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize production downtime.
• Install, commission, and relocate new machinery and equipment according to specifications.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, LOTO procedures, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve recurring equipment issues and improve reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
• Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• HVAC certification or significant experience.
