Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and facilities management, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting the operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Littlestown, PA

Pay Range: $25 to $32 depending on experience

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

What's the Job?

• Perform basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards.
• Install, inspect, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management systems following standard operating procedures.
• Assist with miscellaneous facility projects, including painting, drywall, carpentry, fixture installation, and moving furniture or materials within the facility.
• Utilize a work order system to log activities as required, ensuring accurate documentation of maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with trades contractors and internal departments to complete projects or complex repairs efficiently and safely.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or a combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of experience performing similar duties, including electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Working knowledge of basic tools and proper use of tools.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques, with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally, and follow instructions accurately.
