Machinist – $24–$28/hr | 2nd Shift Job Description

This role involves operating Makino CNC Mills and Jig Grind machines equipped with Fanuc controls. The ideal candidate will have strong setup and measurement skills, and a commitment to precision machining in a high-quality production environment.

• Set up and align vices and fixtures for milling operations
• Utilize indicators to ensure precision alignment and setup
• Operate Makino CNC Mills and Jig Grind machines with Fanuc controls
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
• Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools
• Perform in-process inspections and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain equipment and follow preventive maintenance schedules

• Experience with Makino, Haas, and Mazak milling machines
• Ability to hold tight tolerances to the ten-thousandth
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measuring tools
• Experience with machine changeovers

• Experience in a temperature-controlled environment is advantageous

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $58240.00/yr.
