I nsight Global's client, a leading IT Infrastructure security company, is seeking to hire a Low Voltage Technician / QC Lead in Charlotte, NC to join their team! These technicians will be responsible for installing all low-voltage equipment in big box retail stores for customers such as Walmart, Kroger, Home Depot, Target, and many more. You will be installing Access Control panels, CCTVs, Fire alarms, Burglar alarms, POS systems, and more.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• 1 – 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience working with and installing security cameras, commercial intrusion systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems, or a combination of these preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to clear a drug screening.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Installs commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and Card Access systems in large retail stores
• Provides reliable, high quality customer support.
• Performs customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Performs system testing and signal verification.
• Maintains the necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).
• Performs new system installations, upgrades, and additions.
• Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
• Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
