Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Lathe Machinist where you will perform CNC setups and operate CNC lathe machines using Fanuc controls. You will work with a variety of metals including titanium, aluminum, stainless steel, and composites on Nakumura and Wasleon machines. Your ability to read G&M codes and understand the necessary tools for each build is essential. You will be responsible for reviewing, comprehending, and executing programs independently, ensuring the successful completion of each job.

Responsibilities

• Perform CNC setups and operate CNC lathe machines. (Will take someone with only a little bit of setup and a great attitude and willingness to learn)
• Utilize Fanuc controls effectively.
• Work with metals such as titanium, aluminum, stainless steel, and composites.
• Operate Nakamura and Wasleon machines.
• Read and interpret G&M codes.
• Identify and gather necessary tools for each build.
• Complete jobs independently, ensuring quality output.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a setup lathe machinist.
• Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers.
• Experience in programming CNC machines (Not required)
• Ability to deburr parts.
• Experience in a job shop environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
