As an Instructional Designer, you will engage and effectively train content with specific focus on graphic design while working closely with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and other team members to design, develop, and deliver high-quality instructional materials that meet the learning objectives of programs and courses. You will apply a creative approach to instructional design which helps enhance the overall learning experience for users.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to analyze learning needs and design effective instructional solutions.
• Develop instructional materials, including e-learning courses, videos, simulations, and other interactive content.
• Use instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote knowledge retention and skill development.
• Design assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of learning materials and make improvements as needed.
• Stay current on instructional design trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the quality of our learning programs.
• Work closely with multimedia developers, graphic designers, and other team members to produce high-quality learning materials.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, or related field with 5+ years’ relevant experience.
• 2+ years’ experience working in a corporate training or educational setting.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Solid understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models (ex – ADDIE, SAM).
• Training and teaching skills.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Microsoft Office software and Dreamweaver.
• Fundamental understanding of HTML.
• Proficiency with instructional design tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.
• Experience with eLearning Authoring.
• Audio and video editing skills.
• Understanding of Adult Learning design, needs analysis, etc.
• Strong Project Management skills.
• Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
