Position Overview:
An established gastroenterology practice in Queens is seeking a motivated and bilingual Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team in the vibrant Flushing area of Queens. The ideal candidate will be conversational in Spanish or Chinese, have a passion for gastroenterology and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Both experienced providers and new graduates are encouraged to apply as the group is open to training!

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Perform various gastroenterology procedures in the outpatient setting
• Provide patient education regarding gastrointestinal health, disease prevention, and management strategies.
• Document patient encounters accurately and maintain thorough medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current New York State licensure or ability to obtain.
• Proficiency in Spanish or Chinese is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Flexibility to work a schedule of five 8-hour day shifts per week, including one weekend day.
