Job description:

We are seeking Warehouse  Forklift Operators to operate a sit-down forklift truck, a Tugger and work in our Recycling department to breaking down boxes, pushing recyclables in a bailer. To work at the HONDA PLANT in Marysville, OH and must be able to badge, pass a 12 panel drug test and background check. We are only looking for candidates with good attendance and performance that are looking for a long-term career

• 1st shift starts at $18.50and once hired after 90 days a raise to $19.59
• Hours are 6:30am-3pm

Responsibilities

• Uses forklift and other PIVs to load, unload, and move materials within or near work site.
• Able to identify material by part number or written description.
• Manually moves materials onto or from pallets and shelves.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
• Cleans work area, machines, and equipment.
• Assembles crates to contain products when required.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
• Adheres to all safety rules and regulations.
• Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time and repetitively lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in materials handling and warehouse operations
• Proficient in operating forklifts, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks
• Familiarity with distribution center processes and order picking
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices
• Mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy equipment operation
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate RF scanners
• Previous experience in warehouse supervision is a plus
