Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Fire and Flood Damage Cleanup Technician to join our restoration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to residential and commercial properties affected by fire, smoke, soot, water, and mold damage. This role involves emergency response, property cleanup, demolition, drying, and restoration support to help return structures to pre-loss condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to emergency calls for fire or water damage restoration.

• Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and sanitizing.

• Clean and remove soot, smoke residue, and debris from affected structures and contents.

• Set up and monitor restoration equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA filters.

• Perform demolition tasks when necessary (e.g., removing drywall, flooring, insulation).

• Assist with mold remediation and odor removal processes.

• Document work performed using digital job management systems (photos, moisture readings, logs).

• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients.

• Follow safety protocols, including use of PPE and handling hazardous materials.

• Maintain and clean equipment and vehicles.
