Multi-Billion Dollar manufacturing plant location Jackson Michigan is looking for a Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator

JOB DUTIES

  • Support and assist EHS Manager with strategic planning for development and use of specific awareness programs (5-S and Housekeeping, etc.
  • Support plant safety compliance per regulations
  • Coordinate the technical health and safety activities with the facility
  • Maintain knowledge of OSHA & MIOSHA standards * includes inspection / review of new equipment and materials for the plant, conduct inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Support the ISO 45001 Safety Management System

REQUIRED

  • 3+ years working in Health and Safety
  • 1+ year working in a plant manufacturing environment
  • HS Diploma
