Job Description

US Trades is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Electrical Leadperson to serve as the on-site point of contact for all electrical subcontractors performing installation work. This individual will provide day-to-day field leadership, interpret electrical plans and drawings, and verify installations meet project specifications and quality standards. The Electrical Leadperson will work closely with the Project Management and Site Supervision teams to ensure effective communication and coordination between contractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary on-site liaison for electrical subcontractors
  • Interpret and clarify electrical installation drawings and specifications
  • Provide guidance to subcontractor teams regarding installation methods and best practices
  • Monitor progress and verify that all electrical work is installed to code, per drawings, and project standards
  • Coordinate with mechanical teams and site supervision to avoid scope conflicts and align work schedules
  • Inspect completed installations and report any deficiencies or corrections needed
  • Ensure all electrical installations are in compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Attend and contribute to daily coordination meetings with project leadership and contractors
  • Assist with documenting work progress, issues, and field changes as needed

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical installation
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, drawings, and installation procedures
  • Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed electrical schematics and layout drawings
  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently and collaborate in a multi-trade jobsite environment
  • OSHA 30 preferred

  • High attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide real-time field support
  • Professional, proactive communicator with all trades and management
  • Capable of walking jobsite, climbing stairs/ladders, and performing basic inspections
