We are currently seeking a Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee and manage the accounting team, ensuring that all financial reporting is accurate and timely. This is a pivotal role within our organization, with the opportunity to shape and drive our financial strategy. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the engineering industry, with a particular focus on manufacturing or construction.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the entire accounting team.
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Provide insight into operational cost and profitability.
• Analyze operational costs, overhead allocations, and pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with senior management to formulate the company's future direction and support tactical initiatives.
• Report financial performance to the board of directors and stakeholders.
• Coordinate and strategize the capital structure and budgeting processes.
• Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company's strategic direction.
• Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• 7+ years of accounting experience,
• Manufacturing or construction experience is preferred.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing internal control policies and procedures.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze operational costs, overhead allocations, and pricing strategies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
