Job Description

The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire onsite operation of a commercial construction site. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas in order to maintain the safety of workers. This candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with project managers and other parties, and be able to establish a timeline for completion. Archden values versatile employees that can function across different types of projects, approaches, and clientele.

A majority of our projects are local here in DFW area, but we are looking for someone willing to travel out of state and work projects remote.

Types of projects we do

Commercial & light industrial - Office, retail, restaurant, medical, mission critical

New ground up construction, interior fit outs, remodels. Projects range from small remodels and service work, up to full scale commercial sites up to $5+M.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onsite daily operation of construction projects
• Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed
• Communicate project progress with project managers
• Manage subcontractors and construction site organization
• Coordinate subcontractors and material deliveries to stay on project schedule
• Work with City to coordinate all required inspections
• Miscellaneous installations and various construction tasks
• Projects all located within the north DFW area
• manage jobsite safety

Qualifications

• Self reliant, and motivated attitude
• Experience in commercial construction is required.
• Experience in the North DFW market preferred
• Strong project organization and communications skills
• Ability to read construction documents
• Familiarity with regulatory construction standards
• Comfortable with technology and basic computer proficiency
