Position at SBM Management

The Chief Marketing Officer will report directly to the President. This executive team member will drive growth through new customer acquisition, retention marketing, and brand awareness. The CMO will develop and implement marketing strategies to increase customer lifetime value, establish brand recognition, and build consumer trust through third-party validation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee corporate communication activities, including external and internal communications and systems.
• Build and manage the annual marketing plan and budget; oversee quarterly execution and impact reporting.
• Support a high-performance, creative, and fast-paced marketing environment.
• Set clear goals for the marketing team and ensure they have resources and professional development opportunities.
• Manage branding initiatives and identify opportunities to generate revenue.
• Conduct market research across regions and industries to inform business growth strategies.
• Analyze website activity data and recommend traffic-increasing strategies.
• Coordinate internal and external events in partnership with Business Development.
• Evaluate company culture and recommend strategic changes to meet priorities.
• Assist senior leaders with learning and development initiatives, aligning marketing and messaging with business development.
• Manage the recruiting team to support company hiring needs across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business, communications, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading departments with measurable ROI.
• Act as a strategic partner and advisor to senior leadership.
• Experience in professional services or technical firms' writing and editing.
• Self-starter with a hands-on approach.
• Proven leadership in developing high-performance marketing teams.
• High energy, passion, and ability to drive change; committed to a high-performance culture at SBM.

Compensation: $325,000 - $400,000 per year
