Job Summary Our client is seeking a dedicated Call Center Representative responsible for managing communication with patients, insurance companies, and other medical facilities. The role primarily involves handling inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, and ensuring clear communication across departments to enhance patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities - Answering phones to respond to inquiries from patients, insurance companies, and medical facilities.
- Handling a large volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.
- Re-scheduling patient appointments via telephone calls and written notifications.
- Screening and routing patient calls to other departments, ensuring accurate registration and appointment scheduling.
- Taking clear and accurate messages on behalf of other departments.
- Responding to patient's questions by editing, canceling, and re-scheduling appointments as necessary.
- Reviewing physician schedules to maximize capacity and verify correct scheduling.
- Faxing medical records to authorized facilities.
- Maintaining effective communication within and across departments.
- Other duties as assigned.
