Role Description Aviation Crew Scheduling & Planning Consultants Location: This is a travel job that is 100% onsite at the client site (US), possibly some days will be work from home. Travel expenses will be reimbursed on a net 30-day basis. Base pay range $85.00/hr - $150.00/hr Pay Rate Typical Pay Rate: $85 – $150 per hour , depending on experience and engagement scope. Role Description We are building our network of aviation consultants with deep domain expertise in Crew Scheduling & Planning . These roles will be contract (1099) project-based roles supporting client engagements in the commercial airline sector. Selected consultants will join structured consulting teams and work alongside client stakeholders. Most assignments will require on-site presence, with some limited remote work as appropriate to the engagement. Key Responsibilities Design and optimize crew pairing and rostering strategies within complex operational constraints. Apply deep understanding of crew rules, contractual requirements, and compliance frameworks. Work with systems such as Jeppesen, Sabre Crew, AIMS, or equivalent. Support scenario modeling, cost analysis, and disruption recovery planning. Collaborate with client stakeholders and consulting teams in structured project environments, presenting actionable recommendations to senior leadership. Qualifications 7–15 years of experience in the airline industry or aviation consulting with deep expertise in the full Crew Planning and Scheduling lifecycle, from long-term planning through day-of-ops execution. Consulting-grade communication, facilitation, and client-facing skills is required. You must have a "consulting mentality" and must have worked as part of an organized consulting team. Expertise with crew schedulign systems such as Jeppesen, Sabre Crew, and AIMS. Exemplary analytical skills and proficiency in Excel as a "power user" is required. Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python/R, Power BI, or aviation-specific systems is strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
