Assembly Technician

Immediate opening for an Assembly Technician in Presque Isle. Great entry-level job for an individual with good hand/eye coordination and strong attention to detail. Benefits available after temp-to-hire period. FT/Days; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, or FT/Nights; 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Monday - Friday. $15.75 - $17.50/hr.

The Assembly Technician will manufacture dental and medical implements, using an assortment of specialized tools and techniques. Employee will be responsible for meeting daily production goals and assembling products that meet high quality standards. Previous manufacturing experience helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble items according to production guidelines.
• Inspect product during and after assembly to ensure good craftsmanship.
• Count and package finished product for storage and/or shipment.
• Keep workstation clean and organized; remove debris and store materials and tools in designated areas so that items are accessible when needed.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures as directed.
• Wear all required PPE in accordance with training guidelines.
• Notify management of defective materials, equipment malfunctions, and/or safety incidents in a timely manner.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by shift supervisor.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent education. Good hand/eye coordination. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Drug screen and background check required.
