TITLE:  Accounting Supervisor / Manager 

LOCATION:   Waco, TX (full-time onsite)

COMPENSATION:  $95,000 On Target Earnings ($80-85K base, 10-12%+ Individual Yearly Performance Bonus)

RELOCATION:  $5,000+ relocation reimbursement - relocation candidates welcome!

SUMMARY:

Are you a hands-on accounting professional who thrives on leading teams and supporting strategic decision-making? We’re looking for an  Accounting Supervisor / Manager to oversee financial operations, reporting, and day-to-day accounting while partnering with leadership to drive business performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a small team (4-5) across accounting, payroll, AP/AR, and administrative functions.
  • Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and compliance with GAAP.
  • Manage audits, tax filings, and financial statement preparation.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with retail and operations teams to optimize processes and support daily business operations.
  • Prepare board and lender reports, and help present key financial insights to leadership.
  • Mentor and develop your team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience; bachelor’s in accounting or finance required (CPA a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, audits, payroll, AP/AR, and monthly close processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems, Excel, and reporting tools.
  • Experience leading a team and developing staff through coaching and mentorship.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Confident communicator, able to present financial insights to senior leadership.
